Jacqueline Taylor is an artist, writer, researcher and lecturer. She was awarded her art-practice-research PhD titled writing//painting; l’écriture féminine and difference in the making in 2013 at the Centre for Fine Art Research, Birmingham Institute of Art & Design. She continues to work there as a post-doctoral researcher where she has developed and co-runs the BIAD Research Mentoring Initiative and as a lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton.
Jacqueline’s research examines poetic interrelations between writing and painting, issues surrounding Fine Art research practice, and more recently the doctoral student experience and doctoral pedagogy in Art & Design. Her most recent publication examines doctoral art practice methodology in the Arts and Humanities in Higher Education: an international journal of theory, research and practice (2014).
